A. Faye Robinson, 95, formerly of Cambridge City passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville.

She was born on May 4, 1916 in Jefferson County, IN to George and Jessie Cole Higbie and had lived most of her life in the Cambridge City area.

She was a graduate of Bentonville High School and had been a house parent at Soldiers and Sailors Home in Knightstown and sold Stanley Products for over 22 years. She was a member of Cambridge City Church of the Nazarene for over 65 years.

Survivors are 3 children Carolyn Joyce (Dale) Fink, James L. (Janice) Robinson, and David A. (Deola) Robinson; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother Jon (Chyna) Higbie; niecees and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Robinson in 1975, a sister Veleta Sears and brothers Melvin and Clayton Higbie.

Friends may call at the Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 1:00 PM until the start of services at 2:00 PM. Pastor Gary Lori will officiate. Burial will follow in Westside Cemetery in Milton.
