R. Henry Rice, age 58, of Cambridge City passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2009 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN.
He was born on March 29, 1951 in Hamilton, Ohio to Raymond and Vernie Johnson Rice.
Henry lived to assist his parents in the antique business. He was a Wayne County ham radio operator, his call letters were KC9JXX. He also loved airplanes often volunteering at Richmond Municipal Airport. He was a member of sky warning in Richmond. He was a member of Fairfield Masonic Lodge # 98 F&AM.
Survivors are his father Raymond Rice of Cambridge City and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother Vernie in 2002.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City with Rev. Estell Stewart officiating. Burial will be in College Corner Cemetery in West College Corner, Indiana at 1:00 PM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. There will be masonic services at 6:45 PM.
