Lois D. Harris ,82, of Hagerstown, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at her residence.
She was born on December 18, 1929 in Shirley, IN to Chester M. and Dorothy Favorite Ware and had lived in Hagerstown before moving to Cambridge City.
Lois was a homemaker and a Christian. She enjoyed horseback riding, sewing, crafts and traveling. She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors are her husband of 61 years James C. Harris, a daughter Lisa (John) Longnecker of Cambridge City and a grandson Alan (Lyndsy) Storer of Yorktown, IN.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Harry Favorite.
There will be no public visitation and services will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are being handled by Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or the Muncie Mission.
