I was saddened to see of Dorothy's passing. I worked with her for years at Kroger in Richmond and New Castle. She was always the sweetest person and was always laughing about something. She brought a lot of joy to everyone around her. After I left this area and moved to Florida she stopped and visited me there at my home while she was vacationing. I will always remember her taking the time to stop and see me. My sympathies to the family, she was one in a million.

Just wanted to drop a note and let you know you are in our thoughts and prayers. It had been a joy helping to care for Dorothy. She was a wonderful woman. It was a true joy to see how much you loved and cared for her. As I am sure she did you, she would have a wonderful light come into her eyes when you would come and see her. Just know she is with our Heavenly Father in Paradise. Where in Gods time, you will be together again. May the Lord comfort you in this difficult time.

Bud, Cheryl and family
Dorothy always had a special smile. You are each in our thoughts and prayers with her death. My first thoughts are that she is now "healthy and whole". Sorry that David and I aren''t going to be able to come to visitation. I just had knee replacement 2 weeks ago and can''t stand for a long period. May the Lord lift you up at this time as he has in the past.

As friends of Cheryl from my younger years in school and 4-H Rough Riders, I knew how special of a "Mom" Mrs. Hatfield was. She is in good hands with God. She was a great lady and I was so happy to be able to say that I knew her pretty well. Our condolences to all the family. May God give you strength through this trying time. I was blessed to have known her.

My sympathy to all of you on the loss of Mrs. Hatfield. She was remarkably patient with all the funny antics we pulled (Cheryl, do you remember using flashlights to try and send messages across the street?) as neighbors so very long ago. She was a lovely lady.
